What are Transalign clear aligners?

At Transalign we’re making the smile you’ve always wanted more affordable. Our team have developed a new and easy way to use digital technology and 3D printing capabilities to cosmetically straighten your teeth. We develop a personalized treatment plan which includes several sets of tight-fitting, custom-made clear plastic aligners that gradually shift your teeth into their desired position. Transalign works for most people. There are some instances where it may not be suitable – so the first step is to find out! How? How do Transalign aligners straighten teeth?

Through gentle controlled force our clear aligners are designed to gradually move the teeth into the desired position as per your specifically created treatment plan. Our clear aligners come as a set of multiple aligners. You'll begin wearing a new set of aligners every two to three weeks. Wearing the aligners for 20 hours per day as recommended is the key to getting the smile you’ve always wanted. Find out more.

What are Transalign clear aligners made of?

Our aligners are made of a smooth, comfortable, high quality BPA-free plastic that won’t irritate your cheeks and gums like traditional metal braces do.

How transparent or discreet are Transalign aligners?

Most people won’t know you’re going through treatment when you’re wearing your clear aligners because they are virtually invisible! Still not convinced! Got a special occasion coming up? No problem, just take your aligners out for the event and pop them back in when you’re done.

Can I still use Transalign if I have Crowns, Bridges, Implants or Missing Teeth?

Transalign works for most people. There are some instances where it may not be suitable – so the first step is to find out! How? I've recently had my wisdom teeth out. Should I wait a while before treatment?

Yes, you should wait six to eight weeks after any tooth extraction before commencing the Transalign treatment. If you have any concerns you should consult your dentist before proceeding.

I'm planning to have my wisdom teeth extracted in the future. Should I still use aligners?

We recommend you seek your dentist’s guidance before proceeding.
